This historic Victorian home was built in the late 1800s and needed updating for a growing family. The house had been passed down from grandparents, so there were some accommodations for “sweet memories,” especially in the kitchen. The owners also loved their 2-story “sleeping porch” and wanted it to be larger and open to the rest of the house while incorporating a new master suite above. The attic space created from the steep roofline would be added to the existing 3rd-floor living space. An appropriately detailed detached garage was added behind the home.
