Backing into private woods & overlooking a local country club, this 1960’s Neoclassical style home needed a modern refresh. On the exterior, the red brick was painted white, & windows were replaced with black ones. The front porch’s existing classical columns were switched out for pairs of black cast iron columns on brick pedestals, giving the entry a New Orleans feel. The entire right wing of the home was reconfigured on the interior to create an open kitchen, family room & breakfast room. The Master suite received a luxurious bath & updated walk-in closets. The lower level gained a bar, billiards room, wine cellar, exercise room & an expansive multi-slide door system to the new lower-level walk-out patio. Every room in this home was touched, including extensive work on the landscaping around the house.
